Ayahuasca

Hey everyone! Im a nOOb. This is my first post. I was wondering if anyone had tried Ayahuasca pills? I just got them today from Speaking Plants. Any info on these pills would be great. Thanks! PeAcE!

If you read closely, it says "100% Pure Banisteriopsis Caapi Extract", which is an MAOI used to make DMT orally active. Unfortunately, that means you have only 50% of the ingredients. You still need to use something that contains DMT like Mimosa Hostilis and extract it.


As a word of caution, which you may or may not know, MAOIs can be a fatal mix with different foods, medications and such. Be sure to make sure you are very careful!

both great sources of information... but as you might read on the ayahuasca.com forum, the b. caapi can be quite an experience by itself. But I dont know these pills, so I cant say how much material they contain. But as mentioned, if you want to try the full aya-experience, you need at a second ingredient.
For the DMT-part, mimosa is the easiest to start out with. But a lot of people prefer p. viridis, wich is usually used with caapi. Read around the aya-forum, and you'll get all the answers needed for prep.

I'd most definately educate yourself about ayahuasca before checking it out - I've got caapi and viridis, but am waiting for an opportunity to use it with someone experienced, as from what I've read it can be an extremely intense experience, and not something to go casually into. Twirling's web site recommendations are perfect.

Indeed... be sure to have a sitter. I once tried 12.5 gram of mimosa, wich I had read to be "an average dose" (after some small dose trips). It started beautiful, but ended in 4 hours of mental hell where I actual wrote a short letter to my friends, saying sorry for going insane (but I think it was due to too much raw harmala, though). It is def. not for the unexperienced... start low and work your way up, and read read read. I read about aya for 2 years before I tried it, but that didnt save me :wink:

Yeah, it doesn't sound like anything to be thought of as 'recreational', that's why my caapi and viridis are going to just hang out for a while until i have the opportunity, if I can make it happen, of being with experienced ayahuasceros. Metzler's 'Ayahuasca' is a really good read, by the way, well worth checking out. Being turned inside out and having elves take away organs for repair, and having a huge snake slither into you through your mouth are the sort of things you want to be prepared for :smile:

I have 50 grams of vidiris that has been calling me for months , and I think I will have to boil up 25 soon.


I have never tried aya but I have been ready for a long time , I have known about DMT forever it seems but yet I havent "steped in"

shucks, even the shroomery links pages have quite a few vendors linked...
and glider's page has a list of vendors & reviews...
aand, as mentioned above, a googlesearch with a few carefully selected searchwords could yield quite a few possibilities...
ya just gotta poke around...

there are herb vendors up north who sell aya "fixins"...
but pure harmine & harmaline are scheduled in canadia, eh?
(& of course, pure dmt is scheduled 'most everywheres...)
but the plantstuffs needed are widely available...
