Herbal Remidies
    #17083227 -

What are some of your favorites?

Personally I find this chart to be pretty indispensable. I keep a copy of it on my fridge at all times. Also, HONEY, honey is like some sort of godly substance with how many things it can help with... who'd have thought that bee vomit would be so amazing

I like coffee to wake up, chai to sip, chamomile to relax, ginger for upset stomach.

Pure Tea Tree oil for skin/hair care.

Of course cannibis, mushrooms, and dark chocolate.

I eat lots of other things on that list but not for specific medicinal reasons.

coffee is a great, natural stimulant without side effects. St johns wort is amazing for depression and anxiety, and is very good for your brain health.

Every day I eat a tablespoon of cold expeller-pressed coconut oil. It really is amazing stuff. Not just any brand will work; you can taste and feel the difference from quality organic to generic safeway brand. Make sure the label says "cold pressed" because heat changes the composition and effectiveness of the product. No refrigeration needed.

I kinda taking a break from the forum but I thought I'd wrap things up - I take it as part of a "chill pill" available at most chemists. Just go to a chemist and ask if they have any.

It was the missing piece for me. Being just high or something isn't going to do it for you, say if you find a mood enhancer, but this adaptogen gets the psychological and physiological changes happening at the same time. It just goes, here, have some inner strength.

Yeah I've been on Rhodiola for a little while. It is one of the most in-your-face herbs you will get.

Celastrus paniculatus is a MUST have, like Rhodiola. Chew a teaspoon of seeds and watch your weed-over disappear. Mental clarity, sharpness, etc.

Valerian root will treat glutamate rebound from alcohol induced hangovers; it will let you sleep restfully and you will not get tremors.

What do you mean to go to a chemist?
Is that a synonym for Walgreens or something?

I may have to hop on this bandwagon.

A clinical trial showed significant effect for a Rhodiola extract in doses of 340–680 mg per day in male and female patients from 18 to 70 years old with mild to moderate depression.

Probably in your local grocery store if they have a supplement isle, or walgreens/pharmacies.

As for online... can't help ya.

Arctic Root SHR-5 is what I hear is the most balanced and powerful/pure rhodiola. It's the one used in most of the studies on Rhodiola's effects as well.

There are other brands but when I looked around for word of mouth recommendations, this was the brand. And yeah I can confirm it damn well does the job, though it is a bit more expensive than the other ones. You might do well to shop around, I just wanted to get something I knew would work.

Found some at our co-op and have been taking it for 3 days (175mg/day) and I'm not sure if I can just attribute all the good things that I have been noticing to it but damn I have been in a way better place. Last night I went out and the night was a total bust but despite nothing going well I had a great time. Calm, less reactive, warm
