Is it too late to be planting poppy seeds in temperate climate of south-east quarter of the Australian continent?

Maximum 29°C 34°C 32°C 24°C 24°C 21°C 19°C
Minimum 9°C 13°C 18°C 16°C 13°C 13°C 11°C
Chance of Rain 5% 60% 90% 90% 80% 70% 50%
Rain Amount < 1mm < 1mm 5-10mm 20-40mm 10-20mm 20-40mm 10-20mm

Of course with nightly watering i can lower the temp and using pots to sprout i can create a micro-climate if needed.
Is it viable?

Should i try the icecube method?

I would like to know this too. I dont see the harm in trying, the worst is they dont flower and you dont get any goodies. Ill give it a go in NSW and see if they will make it in time.

It wouldn't hurt to try but none of mine have sprouted in the last few weeks, probably because temps have been a bit warm or from lack of water.
