Cloning from a stem

How would you guys rate stem cloning? is it a waste of time sompared to grain to grain and spores? Do you need agar?

But to help ya out...

Cloning from a stem isn't bad, but its rather tough to compare it to a grain to grain transfer. Its like comparing apples and oranges. When you clone from one particular fruit, your making something of a replica of that fruit. Now with grain to grain transfers (unless you've previously cloned a strain) you may be working from a mulitspore batch.

I'm not sure if that helps you or not.

Oh, and yes, you do need agar to clone :smile:
