**CONTEST** and POLL for a NEW Shroomery Slogan.

I think the Shroomery has outgrown the old slogan "MAGIC MUSHROOMS DEMYSTIFIED". I think it is a good slogan to attract noobs, but does little to promote the underlying academia of mycology. I think some may draw inference from the slogan that it is just a drug site only concerned with magic mushrooms. I personally don't find this to be the case, the knowledge base at the Shroomery greatly exceeds that of "MAGIC MUSHROOMS" and the slogan could be better defined. One simple and obvious solution would be to just take out the word "magic" from the slogan, but I think we could all come up with a great slogan together if we put our minds together.

I am going to make a poll to gauge how many would object to changing the slogan, because I know some of you may have sentimental attachements or other arguments for keeping the slogan as it is.

The purpose of the thread is for people to post their idea's for a new slogan that will be picked by the judges (admins) and be used in the image link to the main page, the image at the top left of the page. That is what you win, to see your work displayed everytime you logon on to the Shroomey. You can be serious, thoughtful, funny, creative, or whatever you feel expresses the totality and focus of the community. The focus is obviously mushrooms, so try to incorporate that into the idea if you want a better chance at winning.

In the event there is not a winner, the slogan will stay the same.

That could be.

Yeah the current slogan sounds cool and everything, but I think the slogan should be representative of all mushrooms, not just the magic ones which are being singled out in the current slogan.

Let's keep it the same.

I might be in favor of changing it, depending on what the alternative proposed slogan would be, if it was REALLY good, but generally I'm good with the way it is now.

If we were to change it, I feel like people would try too hard to come up with something epic and overly badass and it would just end up being lame and gay.
