How very noble of you. You don't care to see where your ancestors came from and see what they did to come to this country? Or is this some political statement? Not any kind of political statement. I just don't see the point of knowing. It doesn't make me a different person and really doesn't matter at all. If I found out where my ancestors were from and how they got here or whatever, I'd still wake up tomorrow the same person I was before and go about my life the way I have before. So why waste the time with it at all? I'm white and American, because that's the only thing of consequence to know, about my heritage.

My last name is generic and not really indicative of any nationality that I'm aware.  I'd look it up but... see above ^^^

My ancestors are all Irish as far back as anyone has records, most came over around the mid 1800s.
