Can I eat this salmon if I thawed it out 2-3 days ago?

I had 2 pieces of salmon that were frozen, thawed them out, ate one of them and put the other in the fridge. Is the other piece still good to cook and eat after 3 days of being in the fridge? Thanks...

Was it smoked Salmon or fresh Salmon? I've kept smoked salmon in my fridge for months on end before eating it. If it was fresh I'm sure it's still good to eat but flavor has gone down I'm sure.

I do enjoy the post head chopping wiggling that some fish will do. I'm not man enough to just go Bear Grylls on a fish, but if I filet it and serve it right I'll eat that shit raw any day.
