I used to have to do that in Tx, luckily pigs don't get much higher than 3 feet or so on a tree so a good hop takes care of them but a nice set of chaps are money well spent.

Man really I hate to say it, I always try to play adovcate but I'm sure you're aware of the python problem in FL.  If you think about it the majority of hot dealers I'm aware of are in Florida and you know if the pythons are finding their way out others are too.  You could realisticly run into anything known, I always worry about what people can run into.  For me though it's a blast, I love all of them, but you'll have that it's like they say just watch out where you put your ankles and wrists and you should be good.

I dont even live in florida and I hear the python problem is ridiculous, especially in everglades. Luckily they arent poisonous but the teeth on those motherfuckers is ridiculous

Yea a few years ago Dave Barker took a bite when he was hand shedding a retic, nerve, tendon damage etc.  It amounted to be basicly a graze but it's the hots I worry about.

The creatures I worry most about are yellow jackets. They like to nest in areas that mushroom hunters tend to poke around. If you don't notice the very non-descript hole(or holes) and get too close, cause too much vibration, or cause physical damage anywhere within a couple feet radius, you have almost no warning before they start piling out and attacking. I never mess with logs without looking first, and I don't listen to my iPod when hunting... Hearing that rapidly intensifying buzz is your only cue to run like hell and avoid multiple stings from multiple wasps.

God I hate those motherfuckers. Not only do they hurt, every time you get stung, your immune system is becoming more sensitized and the chance of a bad reaction increases.

I agree, many a time i have been attacked by yellow jackets from logs, it gets really annoying, i should just wear my dads bee suit  when i go, that show them.

I had a terrifying encounter with the species Bovine today. They kept following me and wouldn't leave me alone. I was scared. That is all.

It wanted you to feed it.  Next time pick big clumps of grass for it.

A few years ago Cactu found a coral snake in Jalisco.  He yelled for me to come see it but I was 30 seconds away.  By the time I got there it was crawling into a hole.  He grabbed its tail and when I arrived he passed me its tail.  I was unable to pull it out and didn't want to try too hard so I let it get away.

Threads like this make me very glad that California's mushroom season is in the winter therefor I don't have to worry about the Rattlers.

My dangerous encounter today:

I got fucking zapped. amgnfaklg.

It looked like a normal fence, I even tapped it once to check and there was nothing. So I go to lift it up slightly so I could slide under and mother fuck did that shit wake me up. I was so calm as well. Just taking a stroll in the fields. Listening to the birds.

I'm NEVER, EVER, EVVVER touching a metal fucking fence EVER again. Infact fuck it I'm bringing a voltage pen next time.

Also got stared out by an entire field of cows. That was awkward. Damn, don't they have anything better to do! wait...

Nice pic of cows staring.

In Mexico I took some cube pics and turned around to see 40 cows in a semicircle surrounding me.

The pic doesn't do it justice...
