Questions on poo

How badly does poo stink once it has been sterlized and placed in a container? Also is horse/cow manure the best and only? Or does smaller forms work too like say Guano or something?

it really doesn't smell very much at all.

i don't think guano would work at all. i'm almost positive. you need the shit of grazing animals. horses, cows, sheep, bison, buffaloes, elaphants, zebras... i think even deer would work...

This is odd, and I've heard it several times, but it actually smells like the animal itself. There is only a mild earthy smell. I wouldn't cook shit in my mom's kitchen or anything though.

If you utilize the oven tek, then there's almost no stench. And yes, you want grass grazing animals or vegetarians.

I wouldn't use guano or non-grazing-herbivore poo. The pH, ammonia, and urea concentrations all tend to be very high in guano, and they don't provide the bulk fiber that the myc likes.
