I've been considering learning spanish actually.  How good are these websites you speak of?

just hang around mexicans, you'll learn it pretty quickly. you might learn the bad words first, but hey..at least it's something..:shrug:

I prefer livemocha but they're both good. 

It's very annoying when I misspell a word on duolingo and have to re-do a lesson

Yeah.  Livemocha has four parts to every course.

First is learning the words
Second is matching the words with pictures and vice versa
Third is writing sentences
Fourth is speaking

Every time you enter a writing or speaking submission, you grade a hispanic person's english submission and someone(usually multiple folks) grades yours.

Of course some of this may change when you reach higher lessons

I'm spanish but I'm not fluent. The only times I ever speak spanish is when I'm at a restaurant ordering my food.
