there don't seem to be any real mods at the Politics, Activism, and Law forum. in the forum, there's a rule against personal attacks and flaming. it's there because given the heated debating that goes on there, without it, the board is quickly filled with posts devoted to nothing but name calling. with what seems to be a complete absence of moderators to enforce the rule, that's what's happening now, and the place is a mess.

This procedure had been implemented in the distant past, but it was concluded that it simply became a popularity contest and the winner was not necessarily the most qualified individual. Thus, we now decide new candidates between the staff of 40+ individuals in the Moderator Forum.

This round has already been taken care of, but for the future, you can always feel free to PM us regarding potential candidates that you'd like to see modding the forum and we will make note of your comments and review the candidate.
