Storing Fresh Mushrooms

Afoaf came upon a quarter of freshly picked shrooms today. Meaning they were picked this morning. Right now he has them covered in some dry paper towel, in a paper bag, in a cool dry place. Is that good enough for them to keep until tomorrow? Or will it lose potency?

Beware of rot. It can set in pretty quick. Might want to store them in the fridge.

They will keep until tomorrow in the fridge.
But if all you're eating is a wet quarter then I doubt you will feel anything at all.

Forgot to mention it's the equivalent to more than a quarter when dried. Maybe I'll write up a trip report if I don't die of rot. thanks.

usualy one can store fresh mushrooms in there stomach. insert through mouth.
