Most organized iTunes bitches

So my iTunes is pretty much immaculately organized. Almost all of my 493 albums have the lyrics, band lineup, max resolution artwork and format of the release embedded in the info boxes.

Makes scrolling through my 18 days of music such a joy

Ahh and the grid view. Its about as close as you'll get to having a hard copy, and it doesn't cost a dime chch

Itunes is fucking terrible at handling compilations and does not read FLAC and is a resource hog and has an inferior visualizer.  Fuck that shit.

Completely agree.  Just getting songs is like reading just one chapter from a book or viewing 1/10th of a painting.

Apple Lossless is just as good as FLAC. Who the hell needs compilations? And who actauuly watches music visualizers?

PC - Winamp, foobar2000, JRiver, Media monkey
Mac - iTunes, or any of the above tbh.

Hehe, it was pretty quick.
iTunes is very well optimised on a mac. The software was designed to be perfectly intergrated with the mac operating system. Not to say that you couldn't use WinAmp or others on a mac. Just that iTunes does the job extremley well. They were made to work with each other, essentially.

The point isn't really that you shouldn't use WinAmp on a Mac. Winamp or foobar on a mac will work like a charm, no worse than iTunes in reality. Most people just prefer iTunes simplicity.
The main thing you want to avoid is using iTunes on a PC, as the transcoding is fucking terrible.
