just bought my 3rd mattress

yup, my third. cost me about 750. i bought two before this. first one was a piece of shit memory foam for 250 from walmart, next was a piece of shit from some piece of shit for 500. hopefully 3rd times the charm.. i spent a little more so hopefully i can get some fuckin' quality! i hate bad mattresses :frown:

Dude my mattress sags in the middle, yet still manages to be hard and uncomfortable with tons of pressure points and squeaks and squeals every time I shift position. I need a new one. :sad:

i went home a few months ago to visit (funny how i call it home, i've been moved out for like 3 years) and my old bed was so fucked up I have no idea how I slept on that shit. it's worth it though I think to save up. you know the bullshit people say, you spend 1/3 your life on it, and really it's not expensive. $1000 compared to a car... you spend way more on a mattress but for some reason people are cool with spending 20,000 on a car and having a garbage mattress. idk, i just hate waking up with pains, but what I learned is : don't buy cheap!

Yeah I just shelled out $700 for a memory foam mattress at Mattress Firm. It's a Serta, so hopefully it ends up being worth the money. Because 7 bills for a motherfucking mattress is a lot of dough. Haven't got a chance to test it out yet, as the delivery peeps aren't supposed to come until next week.

i borrowed my buds truck and got it today
was a LONG ass day. helped a friend move for 3 hours, spent an hour shipping shit, and 5 hours driving to mattress place bla bla bla, and now i'm here eating a huge meal :lol:

I'm interested to hear about how you feel about your mattress...this is the first time I've ever dropped that much cash on a mattress. Hope it's worth it.

i saw those sealy ones you were talking about
im not a big memory foam guy
i got this thing from a place called denver mattress
it's plush or whatver so the coils are quilted and it does't feel at all like a spring bed
its nice

Mine is an old queen sized one, but it is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo comfortable and huge, I love just laying and rolling around on it...so soft..so soft..

I moved to the city and slept on the floor (wood mind you) for 5 months before I decided that I actually needed a mattress to fulfill my dreams of getting laid at some point.

Craigslist, one visit and $450 later I had a slightly used, great condition firm Serta queen/boxspring/frame, plus a couch delivered to my home.
This all culminated in my penis once again entering a vagina, and being blown with great force.

ZippoZ: I saw some of thise 2 thousand to 4 thousand price range mattresses. Man I couldn't imagine dropping that much on a fucking mattress. Some people swear by it though and say that their mattresses are the best purchases they ever made.

pfxtc: As of the moment I have no opinion on the memory foam, as I've never slept on one. If it sucks I'm gonna be fucking pissed.

I went to Big Lots and got this killer mattress for less than $500. By far the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on, and I get to sleep on it every night! :thumbup:

I've slept on waterbeds, air mattresses, memory foam, and sleep number beds...none of them even compare to an actual good quality spring mattress...although some of the shitty spring mattresses can be particularly shitty.

The point I was trying to make was the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on was not at a fancy hotel or a rich friend's house, it was the mattress I happened to buy myself and as a result of this I get to use it anytime I want.

I bought a hammock. Greatest thing I have ever slept on. Granted, if I want to get laid ever again, I have to buy a mattress soon because the one I have is old and I am older so ever since I threw my back out I can't sleep on it.
