Yeah, gorillas are crazy strong and the fact that they can grip and throw cause of there thumbs gives a huge advantage and they got enormous canines.

Yea plus gorillas have super thick chest no neck.Not too many vulnerable spots.

Tiger tho could keep charging and jump attack and swipe and wear the gorilla out.

I worked with siberian tigers before when I worked for an exotic animal habitat. Such beautiful animals. Everytime I turned my back though, he would always pounce at the cage like a kitten. He was pretty much a house kitty but also 450 lbs. He was fun to play with. I miss those days..

an american alligator would fuck up a tiger if it went too close to the water or has 1 miss step. and of course a great white :smile:

and also a pack of hyenas. they regularly take on lions and steal lion's kills in the jungle.

I would think an american alligator would be too slow to get the tiger unless the tiger happened to step right into the alligators mouth.  And a great white ... well, tigers aren't water-born animals so there's just no chance there.

Rhinos, hippos and elephants have thick skin (nature's natural body armor) as far as I know, so this is probably somewhat true.  But I still think a tiger would be too fast for rhinos, hippos and elephants, so it could evade their attacks.

Maybe a Jaguar could kill a Siberian Tiger?  I think they're smaller, but they're damned agile and fast and I think they are supposed to be pretty aggressive and vicious, too.

in order for a tiger to attack hed have to get close and a alligator can swing around and snap its jaws extreamly fast and once a tigers leg got in that mouth its not comin back out.

oh yeah and whoever said a silverback gorilla id put my money on them they are some strong mother fuckers

nah no way man. they would run from rhinos and hippos for sure. rhinos would just gore it to death with its spike. a hippo would crush it in its jaws. more often then not an animals brain is wired to be intimidated by size. so a smaller animal will naturally run from a larger animal in most cases. except for 10 hyenas vs 1-2 lions :grin:

True...but a male lion usually can run into a pack of hyenas and kill a few and make them retreat.

I wasn't talking about a situation where the tiger attacks the alligator, I was simply stating that an alligator would have a tough time killing a tiger who isn't interested in attacking the alligator.

If we're talking tiger VS alligator, then yes, the alligator has an advantage.  Not to mention a thick skin that I don't know if a tiger could claw or bite his way through.

I've never heard of any animal (or even human) actually getting gored by a rhino's spike.  I think they are more for threatening other animals than actually using it in a fight to the death.
