Provided they are given the correct growing environment... you should see pins around 10-14 days after birthing them. And no, you dont have to wait to see primordia to birth them. As with all strains I work with, when there 100% colonized, I give them a few more days just to be sure and let the mycelium network get a little stronger, then I birth them.

I've had them pin and fruit in the jar on me after 21 days, and they didnt even start to germinate until day 7 on that batch.

The problems with the cambodians is it was a strain from the wild, it needed some TLC to adapt to standard home hobby growing, well the strain is domesticated now.
Out of 5 current test batches, 3 out of 5 100% colonized 1/2 pint finch seed jars in 7 days, the other 2 batches were at 80% at 7 days. The strain is looking real sweet now and appears to be stabalized.
