He'll be able to contribute. He's still probably as good as most average receivers in the league today (purely average at this point though and nothing more). Just a couple of years ago with Cincy he put up 1,000 yards and 9 touchdowns...I think the Seahawks would be pleased if he can give them 600 yards or so and 4 or 5 TDs.

I agree.  I guess time will tell, but I amd willing to bet he has atleast a somewhat productive season, i could see 5+ TD's.

I hated him for the Sharpie thing(although pretty hilarious); but I think he'll be productive. If not Pete Carrol has no problem cutting people so I'm not too concerned.
Plus Rice is fragile and TO is definitely not out of shape. Imagine if Rice/TO/Edwards were all healthy and Flynn lives up to expectations...oh and beast mode. Our D is not too bad either.

Well sure, isn't everyone optimistic for their team at the beginning of the season? hehe
We'll see how Flynn does on Saturday. He's supposed to play the whole 1st half then Russell Wilson is gonna play the 2nd half. I'm a little more excited to watch Locker though, haha

Thought Locker would do wonders for Washington, glad I didn't ride a betting cycle on that.  But one never knows, New Orleans must have been a proud moment for Seattle.  And the refs fucked them against the Steelers, don't see another chance coming up soon.  My brother is a Seahawks fan so I follow it somewhat.

Denver fan myself, wondering if Peyton's neck can take a hit.

Yeah, I remember Locker's first game for UW against Syracuse, was awesome. It's too bad he had to play for Willingham for twoish years.
Woulda been nice to get in on the action his JR. year when they beat USC(or the Holiday bowl vs Neb that year)...One of the most epic final 6minutes I've seen live. Should be fun to watch UW at Seahawks stadium this year, my tix just came today in the mail, woohoo!

Thought I would ride him betting because he was so amazing early at Washington.  Glad I didn't.  Don't think he will turn out as a pro unless he proves me wrong which I hope he does.

Yea i'm a Seahawks fan but it's a bad singing, they also signed Braylon Edwards, I guess Caroll is trying to lead the league in dropped passes this year. Way to help out Flynn, Pete :thumbdown:

Such a gamble what the Seahawks did with Flynn. 26 mil for a guy who had a career 3 touchdown passes and 3 interceptions before his career game last season -- a game that was at home in snowy conditions against an already suspect Detroit secondary. And not to mention it was a completely meaningless game as both the Packers & Lions had already clinched playoff berths.

I would have passed on him. Nobody wants to be the guy to give out a 26 million dollar contract to a guy who has basically had ONE good game in his career.
