online magazines: good idea or flop?
    #16645888 -

I just recently got a spot in with this magazine for the first issue ever. It's called Hip Rock Magazine. I guess they are using their networking with advertisers , PRs, and musicians to fund the project and eventually take it to hard copies once they have enough to distribute on such a large scale.

The project is originally backed by Tech N9ne from STRANGE MUSIC INC(I'm sure some of you know of him).

So what do you think? Is it a good idea or do you think it's a lost cause? If you want my opinion, I'd say it's an interesting new idea to share interviews and stories about independent labels, especially if some of these labels go major later on. And the fact that it's the first issue excites me because I've been promised future spots as long as the projects progresses.

If you want to check it out further you can go to http://www.hiprockmagazine.com
or the facebook page which was used as a promotion Hip Rock Magazine

If you want to get involved you can go to the facebook page and message them for more info as well.
