Starting ideas for new tunes, need your input

Hey, I have a couple of starting ideas for some new tunes I want to work on. Go Here and listen to "New One" and "New Two", and lemme know what you think. They're only about a minute each, and they are not too developed. I need input about which one is cooler, what sucks, what sounds good, etc. And a tune I made a while ago but just getting around to putting it up is "Can You Imagine". Still contemplating the fate of this one..... what do you think?
thanks in advance

I dig New One a lot. I like the feel it has for me. It's got a nice "looking for something" vibe going.
The second one's pretty cool as well, but I'd have to say I like the first one more than the second. Two gives me an "it's been found" vibe.. i think if you used some similar drums from the first one in the second they could go hand in hand as a beginning, I think.
I also like the beginning part to 'Can you imagine.' The drums are nice and fit it well also.
Also, for blastrid, i put up a semi-revised mp3 of the song we're doing with the zip file for you too if you feel the end could use anything

They are both good.
The first one has a fluffy housy vibe. Not really my type of sound.
The second one 'New Two' is pretty cool. More complex and layered and psy. Nice atmosphere. This is more my type of ambient/chill music. Kinda gives the feeling it ended before it even started but after all it's only a minute long. However i like the concept very much.
Keep on!

I feel both of them. Everything sounds crisp and clean even on my crappy ibook speakers. Nice work!

awesome, as usual!
while keeping in mind they are both starting ideas: i like both and prefer the second, even though the first has a very nice vibe and flow to it.

I really like them both. The second one sort of left me hanging at the end, but as you said I guess it's still in it's early stages. I'm listening to "Can You Imagine" as I write this and I must say I'm really feeling it aswell. You got a really nice style going

New Two is awesome IMO - lots of promise with that piece.. my only advice would be (so as to not contaminate your mind) to KEEP GOING!
Bravo, Blastrid!

Thanks guys for your input. I'm working on taking what's cool from One and inserting it if it fits into Two (like the drums) The atmosphere is more promising for #2, it seems the most likely candidate to continue working on.
Doctor J, I'm not looking for ideas or inspiration, I'm looking for early criticism. Sometimes when you get stuck in a project, a little outside motivation can revive it. But thanks anyways, I guess...

yeah, I know. I'm just bein a bitch.
seriously though, all these "musicians" I know keep asking me to "work with them". What they really mean when they say that is "You do all the work, I take all the credit." Gets old sometimes.
but I'm sure you're not like that. BTW, i liked what I heard a lot. Find the inspiration in yourself!

I wanted to reply yesterday but my internet connectionwas acting crazy.
I like them both, but the second one better. they sound mysterious and I like that. Nice full and complete sound too There is some clipping in the second one isn't it? or my computer speacers just can't handle it can you imagine is also nice. has some chinese vibe over it and good drum parts
on all 3 songs: good work with the reverb.
What program do you use btw?

Thanks, Stefan. I think I know what you're talking about w/ the clipping, I wasn't sure if that was the Absynth sound or it was actually clipping. I think it was just the specific recording... I used Fruity Loops + vsts for all 3
