started some sativa plants the beggining of April and they grew under continous light until they had around 5-6 sets of leaves going. Then the lights were turned off unknowingly and for maby two days to a day; after this i moved them outside around the middle of May so accidental light failure was not an issue. Then someone moved them to a very dim room inside a barn but they got some light through a window but nothing more then what a 5 watt florencent would provide if they make such. I then moved them back agian to a sunny space and a week later put them in the ground. They began to show flowers a week or so after and i figured this was ordinary because it happended last year two and i was able to distinguish the males from females because only the males had flowers the females were still vegative. But this time this year both male and female parts showed and since then they seem to still be in a flowering stage and havn't grown very fast like last year and the year before then. What will happen? Will they never return to vegetive and get huge? is this normal for this time of year in ohio midwest? Should i apply a heavy nitrogen fert even though the holes their in are composed of well balanced compost of ingredients of all sorts? I thought maby the ph was off so lately I have been adding 2 tbsps of hydrated lime to a gallon of water and pouring a gallon in each hole.
Are these plants gonna be small or can i get them larger before they finally start flowering?
Also the previous years plant were most indica and this year they are most sativa, are sativas supposed to flower through the year because the are perrenials where they grow?
any thorough or acute explanation would be most appreciated. thank you
