Best Trip Playlist for the Outdoors?

#16598494 - 07/27/12 09:03 AM (14 years, 2 months ago)

Me and a few friends are tripping outdoors on a nature trail next to the water next week. The only thing we're missing is a sense of what type of music we should listen to while we're tripping. Should we just go with no music and listen to the outdoors? Or should we get together a playlist? If you think we should get a playlist together, what do you recommend?!!

i personally wouldn't commit to either. they both sound equally awesome. some trips i like music while other trips i feel otherwise. some trips i listen to one band exclusively, while on others i constantly switch music styles up throughout. i like to have many options available for me and it's not until the trip kicks in that i really figure out exactly what i will listen to.

so i recommend that you bring lots of various music that you and your friends already listen to. i never got into the idea of "trippy music". if you like it sober you'll like it tripping (with few exceptions). personally i prefer hard rock more than anything else. if you decide on pure nature, then maybe you could do the music thing on a future trip.

imo Rush is by far the best band to trip to!

haha, alright sounds good! I'd figure we'll have a time where we're gonna be around in a circle listening to music and talking.. Then once I start really tripping hard I'm gonna wanna go lay out somewhere and think. hahah
