You're looking for something to grow besides cannabis?  Most kinds of ivy is pretty easy to take care of/grow, just put it in some dirt and water it :smile:  Get a clipping from a friend.  Maybe you should start here and once you've mastered it move on to fungus :tongue:

There are plenty of suppliers that are located in the great white north...
If one doesn't have the energy to find the FAQ button at the top of the page or search for spores mycology may not be the hobby for him/her.

allright poalo, do me this one favor:

i know so many peopel have already told you about the FAQ. i just though, in case you didn't know, that i'd tell you that it stands for frequently asked questions. since people new to growing ask most questions, it'd be in your best interest to check there before you ask questions. also, you might want to look up some general information, using perhaps and encyclopedia or the internet, just to learn about mushrooms in general.

doing all of that might better prepare you to understand the answers given to you, if they are too technical, as most answers can be to a newbie.

also, here is my tip for you. most newbies underestimate the importance of sterilization. do you know what it means to be anal retentive? if so, apply that state of mind to your work, it'll save you a lot of lost effort. i hope your first crop goes as well as mine did.

also, ivy is a vine that you may have seen growing on the sides of poeples houses. whoever told you to do that was using a humour called sarcasm. i guess you just didn't get it.

they told you to grow ivy because it might be a little easier for you. cause you said you were looking for something other to grow besides marijuana.
