i am thinking of growing shrooms using the pf tek method and using one spore syringe of cubensis B+ strain. i was wondering approximately how much shrooms (in oz) this method would yield.

It depends on a couple things;
1. How many PF jars
2. How good you are with those PF jars [see FAQ for PF-tweaking tips]
Most people seem to waver around a couple [?] dry grams per cake. [28.5 g/oz]

most get 3-4g dry there first time. afoaf is up to 8-10 dry grams now.

A frog I know, got 54 grams wet (B+) from a 1/2 pint jar that was dunked prior to birthing. He was unabe to achive the same results, moved to casings. Lately, he has been getting 100-90 wet grams (first flush) from 1 pint BRF cake, cased with 60/40 coir/verm. Like alot of ppl say, BRF cakes are good to begin with, but grains are better. Hope this is true because my frog is experimenting with WBS and Rye Berries.

I get one ounce (or more) from each jar of WBS I do. Screw the PFTEK. Grains are the way to go. I have never done the PFTek and I had no problems with grain.

he should try the pf tek first and then move on to other things.. trust me soon you'll have so many shrooms you won't know what to do with them. with the one syringe you can innoculate 10- 12 jars. and you can fruit 4 jars as is make the rest into a couple of small casings.
