going hunting in nw georgia

last fall i spent almost everyday walking in the woods looking for ps cyanescens ps caerulipes and gymnopilus spectabilis with no luck although i did find alot of non active psathyrella and hypholoma i also found all kinds of amanita muscaria from what i understand psilocybe weilli may stand a good chance of growing in my area i'd like to know if anyone has found any growing near gordon county which is about 70 miles north of atlanta on i-75 if anyone knows of it growing here or know of other active fungi growing in my area i would really apprciate it all the advice you can give me would really be helpful to me so if you can help please respond thanx alot uneasy1

I've never heard of anyone finding them out there but that doesn't mean it's not possible.

Also, you'll never find any Ps. cyanescens in or around GA.

i was also wondering if gymnopilus aeruginosus or luteofolius might grow in my area and if so when is the best time of year and where should i look deciduous or conifer forest i live on 50 acres of both
