hunting actives in nw georgia
    #2894304 - 07/15/04 07:48 PM (13 years, 10 months ago)

i have hunted for two years in nw georgia with no luck. I live 70 miles north of atlanta and 65 miles south of chattanooga on i-75 in the calhoun, dalton, rome, area. in the pastures around here i have only found panaeolus sphictrinus, panaeolus semiovatus, and coprinus none of which are worth eating. In the woods I find lots boletus ,death caps, amanita pantherina, and amanita muscaria var formosa and all kinds of nonbluing lbm's all of which i wouldn't feed to my worst enemy. I would like to know if anyone else in ,near or thats familiar with my area has had any luck finding actives if so which ones and if it's not to much to ask maybe give me a heads up on where to look in a pm .

thanks
uneasy1

Ahem, the hunting forum is not a hook up for hunting partners or locations. Thread locked.
