of course you can eat 'em, why would you not be able to? eat about 2-4 grams (dry).

Man, the Pressure Cooker is the essential key, that makes it so awesome. With no pressure cooker, i would say your screwed. But you can and will find one! Ask all your friends, most moms will have one. And if u cant do that, borrow 25 bucks and buy a little one from walmart, use it and take it back after u r done. No questions asked.
But yea, reading is fun: so read the Frequently Asked Questions, we wall did when we started, maybe print it off and read it when u have tyme.. Its the only way to learn man.
And you can grow all Psilocybe Cubensis species with the PF TEK..if u do it right (which is easy)

The PF-Tek doesn't just make mushrooms appear out of nowhere, you have to innoculate them with spores. Whatever type of spores you innoculate the jars with is what will grow (unless contamination happens, which most of us know only too well..)

Also, you don't need a pressure cooker to follow PF's tek. Before you get started on the project, you should read through both the tek you are going to follow as well as the FAQ at least a few times. They answer most questions that most of us beginners have (myself and others included)

yea but the stuff thats gonna cost me is the expanded clay pelets and Vermiculite and Brown rice flour, becous i can reuse the presure cooker but i have to but lots of that stuff, but i can just sell like an ounce and that would give me enough money to last :smile:

It's not all that expensive to get started. A friend-of-a-friend bought extra/expensive stuff and they got by under $50, easy. That's for 12 half-pint jars, and they think they still have enough left over for at least another batch.

LoL, but 1 thing is still unclear to me, i dont need any kind of seed or part of a mushroom for this right? it just grows from the ingrdients in the instructions? im useing this page:  PF-Tek for Simple Minds am I at the right place? Thanks fr all the help, im going to the hydroponics shop now :smile:

Like I said a few posts up, mushrooms don't automatically pop up after you put the flour/verm/water together and sterilize it. After you sterilize it, you have to put the spores in it. Did you read the PF-Tek? Did you see where it mentioned having a spore syringe and innoculation?

Decide on a strain and supplier, send money, then wait. Be sure to shake up the syringe before innoculating because the spores could have possibly settled/clumped together during shipping.

Also, READ THE TEK before you start or you will be almost guaranteed to screw it up!! Read it more than once! Go through it several times until you can do it all from memory. Then, read it again to make sure you know what you're doing. Read the FAQ here, too.
