How long do I leave naptha in a mhrb/ lye mixture?

I know, wrong forum yadayada. But the PE forum is lame, too many variations in answers and there are more users here.

Also if I did a few pulls and left the lye/mhrb mixture for a couple days would It be okay to do another pull then?

i swirled it around for like ten minutes each pull


supposedly 5 is enough but it doesnt hurt.


always ALWAYS do many pulls


also if u need tips on drying etc just ask

I know the condesation can wash off crystals and make it a bitch when u take out ur trays

ok the title says lye.

i never fucked with that and always did the simple way using lime and naptha which produced white dmt in a few hours.

I imagine the naptha step is similar if not identical. just getting the goods in a non polar solvent.


should be the same amount of time but i cant say for sure when using lye.

I've done this same extraction. Just shake the naphtha in for a minute, then leave it alone long enough to let it float to the top. When you have a clear layer at the top, suck it out.

I don't think you're suppose to shake the jar as that could create an emulsion, which you don't want.

I would suggest turning the jar end over end and let it sit in a warm place for about 24 hrs. Come back and turn the jar occasionally.

I'm sure you could give it less time, but no need to rush.

In this summer heat sticking the jar in a vehicle with the windows rolled up will keep it nice and warm :thumbup:

DON'T SHAKE THE JAR

GENTLY turn the jar over on the its end and back, in a slow gentle rolling fashion. (Basically turning the jar over and over and over).
You do not want bubbles / foam - that means you are doing it too hard.

~12-24 hours

Don't shake it. You'll hate yourself later. Gently turn it end over end for about a minute and leave it for 12-24 hours. Siphon it out and then leave it in the freezer overnight. Pour that same naphtha back into the mason jar. Never use new naphtha, it's wasteful. The freezer will suck everything out and leave it relatively clean, and it will be able to pull more out. Leave in the mix for 24 more hours and repeat 3 times. For the last pull you can use new naphtha if you want.
