Nitrous is aight for parties.
Coke is not. Especially when you are trying to get laid.

Also, fuck Bassnectar.
STS9 is Waaaaay more talented. At least they get on stage and play instruments.

just because you play instruments on stage doesn't make you more talented than someone who uses electronic equipment...it takes just as much know-how to do what bassnectar does, if not more.

Since always. With both, you end up just doing drugs and not actually partying. With nitrous, everybody just stays fished out. With coke, everybody is stuck at a table doing lines.

Party drugs should last a while and encourage social behavior. LSD, MDMA, booze, weed, etc.

Agreed.  Still, STS9 is 1000 times more talented.  I am shocked some of you think otherwise.

To give Bassnectar credit he does produce himself most of the tracks he spins but his new stuff sucks compared to back in the day.

from my end, dubstep is some real ass hat music.

if you like something dude go. i spent more than i wanted to on phish tickets this year but i went with the best people i know and had fun regardless of how "heady" it got. just love everyone around you, dance, share, live.

but dubstep, drills to the dome while aol is signing on 4.0 dial up at freakishly high decibles. i like music with meaning and substance, dubstep lacks all that. saw a girl locally who knows nothing about instrumental music, theory, or proper arrangement, whip together a dj show and play live. cant take that much talent to push buttons for loops and instruments youve never touched, she proved it.
