and as someone already mentioned, what about the woman who survived the toronto mall shooting a couple months ago, then somehow shows up in a colorado movie theater but this time wasn't so lucky...that's way more bizarre

People don't care as much because it's Canada. I doubt many people even know that we had two similar events in Toronto this year already.

maybe the press could do a little reading before they call something a
massacre or the worst in US history. US army with colt revolvers, repeating
rifles and a gatling gun VS disarmed men, women and children. some managed to
escape the slaughter, roughly 1/3. the casualties on the army side were
around 25 because some of those Lakota braves rushed men on horseback to try
and defend their people, that resulted in both friendly fire and deaths from
self defense

I say disarmed as opposed to unarmed because they'd surrendered and given up
their weapons in order to live without being slaughtered. see why I wont give
up mine?

people arent aware because canada doesnt push the story in order to portray a
nice safe place, that toronto mall shooting was the second mass shooting in a
little more than a month in toronto

Do you care about every single misfortune a human experiences? You wouldn't have time to live your own life.

News like this is just something for the masses to watch in shock and awe and later have something to small talk about.

With more people in the world today than ever before, there is bound to be at least one crazy mother fucker out there. Is it that surprising?

i think this is the second time i hear something like this happening. if i do recall correctly i remember reading a story of some guy who survived the columbine incident, who was then involved in the virginia tech shooting years later. im not sure if he made it out alive or not.

virginia tech has 33 deaths, this even was 12. I guess each time something

They're judging it by the total number shot which is like 70.  Probably choosing to define it that way to get a shocking headline.

clearly

153 killed, 51 wounded (7 fatally)

Worst mass shooting by a single gunman in terms of number of people injured isn't as catchy of a headline.

Mr. Holmes is still 1st place in a narrowly defined category: Most injured by lone gunman

James got his high score and he demands your recognition :crankey:
