lancing and picking poppies when police van comes along....

holy shit. ive never felt so alive in my life.
it was my second time picking poppies. this time the other batch were big and ready for lancing. both spots are in pretty damn public spots, in view of many flats....
so i lance the big ones and pick the pods of the dying plants. it takes me about 15 minutes, stopping a few times when drunks walk past and i mishear people talking so i probably looked pretty sketchy.

i move onto  the garden full of poppies, literally 30 second walk from the other somniferum. im there for a minute and BANG, i hear a slow moving vehicle behind me, relatively far off. by this moment, im pretty camoflagued by trees and plants. the SECOND this thing gets to me, i fucking know its police. its moving really fucking slow, i fucking freeze and turn my head as the vehicle drives past, lo and fucking behold its a fucking police van! it drives past and stops on the opposite side of where i just was with the other poppies!! i shat myself,jamp out the bushes and sprinted.
i know what to do without thinking, its as though my plan was sorted without me spending time to actually think.
i reach a new flat hallway and stop. i hear the van slowly driving past, the engine brumming faintly. it stops and stays there.
i contemplate dumping my bag (full of popies and a blade) but i jump over the fences at the back and make my way home via shortcuts, all my sense at the max, waiting for a noise of a van.

god damn, ive never felt so alive, first time i was doing something illegal where police came in close proximity! did someone call the police because they seen someone with a knife hanging out a houses garden or was the police simply doing a routine drive througj (of which they commonly do, its a badish neighbourhood), who fucking knows!

ill wait a few hours and go back to collect my opium and decide if im going back to the garden to lance the other poppies:tee: :tee::tee:

ive thought about that but the poppies are seriously right next to a busy road and path, i can imagine people stopping and asking what im doing, cant be doing with that shit.

yeah, my main worry was having the blade, thats an offense in itself. my paranoia says they could piece the blade and lanced poppies together, with my bag full of poppies, and do me for "manufacturing" drugs.:uhoh:

i dont want to have to deal with the police full stop, fucking dicks.
by the time i go out next, all the drunks will be have shut the fuck up. get a change of clothes and a different bag. my spoon and blade in my hand, ready to be thrown away :feelshighman:

We got stopped by a cop while we were picking mushrooms. Didn't do any stealth manuevers like OP, just got cuffed but let go. This story reminded me of that haha.

i keep forgetting it gets so light so early. i smoked some opium and nearly decided not to go out but the poppies i lanced are literally right at someones door step so leaving them wasnt an option and it not be a very good idea for them to go "wtf the poppies bleeding??" ans questiojs get asked. tho, dont whine the poppies where all falling over and dying so no harm was done.
ill leave the big garden for tonight. theres another two gardens to go for, one that has real big pods :tee: another three gardens where they are just in preflower/flower stage:awegrow:
and im going to pick up my new bike today so i properly start looking.

i feel like a dick for going into peoples gardens but i feel better as long i take them before the poppies are about to crash down/die.
