Lance Armstrong caught RED-HANDED!!!

PARIS, France --

Lance Armstrong's record setting seventh Tour de France victory, along with his entire Tour de France legacy, may be tarnished by what could turn out to be one of the greatest sports scandals of all time. Armstrong is being quizzed by French police after three banned substances were found in his South France hotel room while on vacation after winning the 2005 Tour de France.

The three substances found were toothpaste, deodorant, and soap which have been banned by French authorities for over 75 years.

Armstrong's girlfriend, American rocker Sheryl Crowe, is quoted as saying "We use them every day in America, so we naturally thought they'd be ok throughout Europe."

Along with these three banned substances, French authorities also physically searched Armstrong and found several other interesting items that they had never seen before, including a backbone and a testicle.

this story is nothing new, there is just proof now... I've been in bike racing for 10 years or so and it's been common knowledge. he admitted to using EPO in his book, he's tested postitive before. I hope he (and all those baseball players) get whats coming to them. A short, unhealthy life and a shameful reputation to be remember with.

But it's publicity, Lance sells bikes and sponsors, baseball players fill stadiums. Lets just ignore performance drugs and see what the human body is really capable of for my own entertainment....

i'm not down with performance enhancers in sports but Lance remains an inspiration to me. that dude has survived cancer for christ's sake. i'm sure he used some illegal substances for that shit too. whoopee. he beats the shit out of the prime cyclists every single year. his determination and focus make him a living legend.

I ride a lot and I totally agree he's an inspiration and gives me some fictious goal. He's raised tons of money for great causes and increased popularity for a dead sport. But it's no coincidence that he admits to using a common performance enhancers, tests positive, has witnesses of drug use and then wins repeatedly over the best in the world. I'm pretty sure you can find references for drug allegations from before his cancer too.

edit: have you watched his races? he dominates no one, except tired riders.

I think steroid use should be mandatory in pro sports. That would be good TV...and no pads or helmets......Then they would truly earn the big bucks.
