Help! MycoBags Drying Out

A freind of a freind has 4 myco-bags innoculated with B+, about 50 percent colonized and coming along nicely. The problem is the bottom of the mycobags appear to be very dried out with the substrate becoming loose and almost dusty. Is this cause for concern? Is there anyway to "rehydrate" the bags? He had thought about injecting some water into the bags just before he mixed the mycellium up with the substrate. Is this a bad idea?

He would really appreciate some advice on this.

i dont know about bags. but if you inject water make sure its strerile, make sure the needle tip is sterile.

if it doesnt colonize, make sure and remove all the uncolonised substrate

This is a common problem when using dry heat under a Mycobag.
