My girlfriend and I are in the middle of season 4.
Holy shit, this is an awesome show.
It's like Dungeons and Dragons but in space!
With a hint of Star Trek, Star Wars and everything else
A BIT cheesy at times, but hey some cheese still tastes good.
Teal'c is the shit.

You're only in the middle of season 4 lucky you, I wish I could watch it all over again. It gets better and better until season 7/8, then it gets pretty boring.

I wish they never cancelled it :sad:

Yeah, it is top notch right now; I have heard that it declines at some point, but the thought we have 6 seasons to go yet is still thrilling. After we will start the movie Continuum and then Stargate Atlantis.

I get jealous towards anyone who hasn't seen and is starting the Sopranos.

I always enjoyed that show, even with it's somewhat cheesy special effects.

The stories are so good, the special effects are just there to drive it, so I applaud the use of them, I'd rather see the fishing line on a puppet if it is making a good point, then pointless pretty CGwhy.

I watched Atlantis all the way through and I thought it was a great show, but with SG1 I gave up after about 2 seasons. I mostly just didn't like the characters as much on SG1. I thought Atlantis was a lot like Farscape, another show I liked.

I looooove SG1. Since November I've watched S01 through S08. I kinda shit out on it recently, but I've seen most of the last couple seasons already. I'm a big fan of the entire franchise as I mentioned in the Farscape thread.

I have to see the movie again
as I barley remember it even after watching it before I started SG1
but it will actually suck having different actors play Daniel and Oneill
