Recreate trip via computer/colored pencils

I'm trying to say that I was wondering if anyone of you peeps out there have ever tried to draw a scene from one of your trips. I remember on time I was tripping and picked up my camcorder, and for a brief moment I got this idea that I would "tape" what was happening. I figured it out quick though.

Also with today's modern technology I'm figuring that somehow it would be possible to create some sort of virtual trip through computer animation? THat woulld be really neat if someone were to do that, although thay would have to have some pre-requisites!

I've seen some drawings that people drew of what they were seeing while tripping, the pics probably look better while tripping :crazy:

haha this is funny i made 1 last night on computer, its pretty shit though and doesn't really look that good but hey, i might improve it and render it clearer and better. Also some aspects of the animation are very basic so once i get the hand og the program more it will look hopefully mad.

It's only of a room morphing pretty subtly

It's done in softimage xsi.

I just drew this badass picture from a CEV I had the night before. It was very fulfilling to draw that, and it came out pretty much exactly as I had seen it, which is a first for me...

I used to have an alright trip simulator thing on my comp, it was just a black and white spiral you stare at it for a bit then look around the room and stuff starts moving a little bit. Don't have it now though, i wonder what it would be like tripping.

That optical thing is really cool. It really gives you some nice OEV for a few seconds after staring in it for a minute :smile:
