If you take a cutting from a cuctus (san pedro) and grow it till it flowers. And pollinate the mother plant will you get seeds??

I dont think it is possible to take a cutting from a cactus and try to pollinate the mother plant it came from.. they have to be different parents etc.. you'll have to get 2 cacti that arent from the same family tree\line.. The thing is a lot of what people have of these cacti are cloned from the same plant..and so on and so on down the line.. mass production , so you could buy 2 pachanoi or peruvianus from 2 different places and still not be able to get it to seed...cause they might be related . jojoba
