Just because you don't pay income taxes doesn't mean you don't pay taxes. You would have to live off the land in a nat'l forest or something not to pay taxes.

It's reasonable for CEOs to make a lot more money than salary workers, but not to make hundreds of times more money.

The rich should pay a lot higher than 37% IMO because of the ill-gotten nature of their wealth and the huge disadvantage poor children have from the get go.

So you are now the arbiter of who is allowed to make how much money? Do you know how fierce the competition is at that level of the corporate ladder? You have even a clue how valuable CEO types are? There are very few people that are capable of such high pressure jobs out there so companies will pay their CEOs whatever it will take to keep them happy.

It is funny how that works: when you are a valuable asset to an organization they will try their best to keep you around. Any idiot can press a button but there are only a handful of people on this planet that can handle a CEO type job.

As far as all this "ill-gotten wealth" crap you're trying to sell me. Save it. I've heard it all before, it is the same old tired communist line: the only reason why they rich are rich is because they steal from everyone!

Such thinking is your justification for your own lack of success and your deep resentment of those that earn more than you. Remember: even Bill Gates started from nothing; he started his empire with some parts in a garage and a dream. When you sit there and play the victim then it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.

You don't know anything about my success level, punk. I'm self-employed putting myself through college and doing pretty well. The difference between me and rich people: I make all my money off my own labor.

And then taking some of that extra money and investing it in other endeavors so that other people can make their own money off of their own labor? The literal height of evil!  :eek:

Oh come now, I didn't say anything about evilness.

It would be fine if the margin between salary and profit from salary worker were small, but it's really big and the only reason they're in a position to exploit others in the first place is usually cause their dads put them in a position to. It simply isn't fair, be reasonable.

I enjoy being bombastic and I won't apologize for it. :lol:

The only thing wrong I see about people that have become rich from business is their ability to organize, and, now that I think about it, that isn't wrong at all. :shrug:
