Honey tek contams

I'm having problems with the honey tek it seems. I've tried three times, I still havent thrown them out, cuz I was hoping you'd be able to help. But I think I failed three times. There are globs of off white forming that look a little like mucus. Thats the best way I can describe it. I opened it up to see if it smelled. And it did smell kinda funky. Is this normal for the honey tek? Is it a lost cause?

Mycelium growing in honey water creates clumps.
Anyway, if you've spoted a "funky" smell like fermenting or mouldy odor throw everything out. Clostridium botulinum is a bacteria that makes one of the most poisonous substances known to man. Just a small amount of the toxin it produces can be fatal. Honey is known source of this bacteria, so take care.
