You're a good dude supernovasky.  I haven't rescued yet but I plan on doing so when I buy a house out west in the next couple of years.  Right now I would feel bad with the amount of space I have.

Good Job, man!!! Rescued animals are the best. Definitely seem to understand their situation would have been much different had you not come along to save them.

Our family has always adopted all of our animals and it will always be that way. (5 cats, 3 Dogs, 2 Ferrets)

Ridgebacks are good strong dogs.
If you exercise her properly she'll be a solid slab of muscle.
Good luck, I get the feeling this won't be easy
but at least she's still young so should respond well to training.

Also post pics!

Don't laugh, but my last gf and I rescued a teacup chihuaha (more her than me).

Honestly, turned out to be an awesome dog.  She was estimated to be about 8 years old, so she was really grey in the muzzle, and had one huge tooth sticking up in her lip so she looked like elvis 24/7.  Weighed about 7 pounds and I knew because of her age (and the tooth) nobody was going take her if we didn't.

Shes the most chill dog ever.  Well trained, never barks, never annoying and you can just tell she was eternally greatful for being rescued.

My sister has rescued two and the current gf also has two rescues.  I would only rescue for the next dog.

I adopted my dog Kirby from the pound. Couldn't imagine him not in the world. Truly brings me joy. Welsh Corgi and Poodle mix.

i am fostering a 1 1/2 year old chow mix right now. he's got some leash aggression issues so we have to be super careful about letting say hello to other dogs on the street. he also bit my neighbors hand and the old creepy guy's hand on street (luckily neither bites pierced the skin). so yea he's quite a handful! super cute though.

Kirby!
