good points in this thread. the road is absolutely not for everyone, but you really won't know until you try out.

Honestly not every trucker fits the stereotype, but most do.

I would think that the average personality type on the shroomery would fit in being a truck driver.

You have to know how to handle women though, because otherwise you are def getting cheated on while you're gone all the time.

My dads a truck driver and loves it.  He gets laid all the time and when he doesnt want to pay, he can just burry them in the desert.

Ive considered being a truck driver for along time and the more I work other shitty jobs the more it sounds like an attractive option.  Ive never realy seen anywhere in the US other than where I grew up and although boring sitting in a truck cab all day isnt gonna leave you with a broken down body when you are 50 like lots of the entry level BS jobs Ive had to take lately.  Im a bit intimidated about driving a big truck like that though, I always see these guys driving and when they are making left turns in realy tight spots Im thinking "how do they not hit anyone?"
