Nature boy wrote a decent trip on 25i and made a decent comparison with LSD.

LSD is better, no doubt about it. 25I (and the other 4-halogen derivatives) are specifically designed to agonise the 5HT-2A receptor which is why he describes it as an "observation" drug whereas LSD has a broader receptor affinity profile, including dopamine receptor affinity which is why its a "touchy-feely" drug.

I guess thats the main idea... If these nBOMes are as good as some people make them out to be than its your (read: the people who are into it) responsibility to make sure it gains popularity as an entity of its own; Not as some LSD ugly/pretty cousin. Don't muddy the water and you can still have a good time...

I fear the cardiovascular stress. LSD is pretty safe in that regard. Still beats the majority of other RCs out there but expect heart attacks at festies :frown:

just research that shit, its active at like 500 ug. But I am in top shape, I took 700 ug, and I could feel some aching in my heart. Lsd has NEVER given me any problems like that. 25i has an amphetamine tinge to it that just makes it disgusting for me. If this shit was as good as LSD it'd be waaaaaay more popular by now:rofl:

I would find something that relaxes the heart. You can still enjoy the warm cosmic psychedelia without getting all fux0red about your heart.

But there is just so much we don't know about. Even with properly researched drugs that are legally sold for legit purposes there are still hidden risks. For example alpha-methyl-paratrifluoromethylphenylethylamine was sold as an anorectic drug in Europe before they found it has a high affinity for 5HT2B which promotes cardiac fibroblast proliferation leading to cardiac fibrosis and some horror heart attack stories. Not cool!

I definitely suggest people to take cyclooxygenase inhibitors, namely aspirin to spare their hearts a bit while on 25X. Also I feel that it causes significant receptor downregulation.

yea i too 25inbome today it felt pretty similar to acid and it made me think about all the usual tripping stuff definatly without a doubt

i liked it brought to a meditative state of infinite awareness for a while at the peak but yeah idk be careful it seems pretty safe accordin to the shit people write about on the internet but one guy had a really bad reaction to just a normal dose and others were overdosin and brain bleedin but it made it sound like they were smokin and snortin it so they musta been takin pretty large amounts but others claimed they took like 50mg and were fine which is like 100 doses so i dunno man

i took 2 tabs like 1mg then an hour later another 500ug if theyre as advertised but idk if the third one added too it because it supposed to have immediate tolerance and i tripped on 500ug last week too so maybe i had tolerance from that but idk either way it was intense as fuck 1mg to 1.5mg range or so

They ALL have some degree (some worse than others) of vasoconstriction.  LSD, you will recall, was being researched for its value as a uterotonic in the treatment of post-partum bleeding.  Its pharmacological effect was to cause constriction of the arterioles in the uterus.  Turned out that (in addition) to this property, it makes you trip!

LSD was once a "research chemical" with no human trials / experience.  Its safety was entirely un-established.  That is where we are today with 25i-NBOME.
