No offense women.

But I feel like women are somewhat like pidgeons.  If you'd like to catch a pidgeon, you must slowly and patiently lure it closer to you by throwing small chunks of bread to it, but you must not let it know that you wish to catch it.  Then, if you make a move and try to catch the pidgeon a fraction of a second too soon, it will fly away and you will never see it again.

Do you agree with this analogy?

It is funny though -- how true the whole notion is that if you jock a girl and are all on your knees begging and shit, they don't (and for good reason) want anything to do with you. But if you blow them off or refuse to give them any attention, they seem more inclined to wanna be with ya.

I don't typically subscribe to the idea that there's a level of TOO much thought, or that one can be TOO perceptive. :tongue:

Either way it's just an observation.  It's not like I'm cringing my forehead while desperately trying to solve the puzzle.  That's because I've already surrendered to the fact that it can't be solved.  :shrug:

I'm not a quitter.  I work with what reality gives me.  I just don't understand why reality is the way it is.

Reality is illogical and has too many variables that can change for any reason at all. Trying to understand is just asking for a headache.

As for women being pigeons? I don't think so. Some women want to be mistreated and always go away from the "good guys". Other girls are not so psychologically fucked up (my opinion) that they play games and go for the assholes or whatever.

I think everyone is like a pigeon. You have to coax them into your arms for the most comfortable transition possible.

It was just an analogy by OP. I'm sure women have tons of analogies for us.

And I'm 100% positive that he wasn't using the analogy in a negative way towards women. He was just saying that the timing/trust has to be perfect in order to get one (especially the right one) or else you're toast.

Yeah I just read that too and was thinking the same thing.  It actually kind of pissed me off at first, although I was glad to read most of the comments at the bottom.  Most people rightfully condemned the article as stupid trash.

I would hate to think that women or men would actually even think about doing these things just for break-up "revenge."
