Here is my Fender Jaguar Bass,,,,
    #15795875 -

The one I used most when doing fretted bass...  Cobalt Blue. It's basically an Active Jazz Bass on Steroids....it has lots of switches, can get a LOT of different sounds..passive or active... :awesomenod:

Its a 2011.  No it is Japanese made.  OUTSTANDING QUALITY, fit and finish are perfect. In real, the Cobalt Blue Finish looks about a foot deep.  I'm very impressed by Japanese made Fenders.  They are a bit cheaper, too, this one was $899, but I had to buy a case.  Really fine instrument.

I love Ricks.  I had a friend who had a really old one before, that fucker was the shiz.  I think it was made of bubinga, really had a fine tone.  but they aren't real common.  I dont know about the newer ones.  Didn't Geddy Lee play one sometimes?

considering the quality, they aren't that expensive.  every bit as good as a made in USA.  MIJ fenders are sought after too, they hold value as good as MIA Fenders.  MIM's don't, though.

yes he mastered that bass, I was really into signals.  With computer sounds and synths geddy played bass in that album to star.  Geddy Lee is one of the best players, probably the best

I need a bass btw, maybe I'll ask my uncle tomorrow

I should post the rest of my basses.  I have two fretless, one is an All-maple warmoth z bass body with a maple neck that is not quite finished, one other fretless ive posted, and a Surf Green 1987 American Vintage reissue of a '57 P bass.  THAT is a bad fucking bass for rock.  It's also a vintage as of this year, and in perfect shape. I found two other of those basses from '86, one is selling for $3750 and the other for $2500, and they don't look as good.  I bought it brand new in 1987, ordered it from the factory direct. ( I knew someone with a Fender Franchise)  No one except me has ever even played it.  well, here one of the fretless....

Are there dots on the side of the neck? I don't think I could play a fretless.

Show us this surf green Fender.

yes, there are dots.  unlike a fretted bass, on the fretless the position markers fall exactly at the frets instead of in between.  But it still is hard to play, but you can.  Instead, I have a fretless lined bass I am building up, a 24 fret fretless but it has lines where the frets should be.  Its easy to play, and easy to play fast.  Wait and ill post a pic....

See, that's what I would need in a fretless.

Show the American Vintage. :yesnod:

Nice. I think a red tortoise-shell pickguard would look way cooler, though.

I don't want to modify anything on it.  The gold-anodized aluminum pickguard is what '57 P-Bass had....(and the reissue....)

This little baby  is getting to be worth some CASH
