i sleep on a horrible old mattress that is worse than the floor. i fucking hate it and if i had money i would def get another one, but i think im going to buy a gun instead. :wink:

I just bought a new one a few months back, I have a queen-size pillow top and I bought a memory foam pad to add even more cushion. I love it, I just wish it didn't cost so much. After talking the guy down a bit at the mattress store I payed 800 bucks for it.

so do people just run around to diff stores hopping on diff beds or do they read reviews? how would you go about buying a new, decent bed?

im new to the bed game. always had a shit one.

reviews are not worth shit. to me the mattress game/technology is all hype. just lay on all the one that are in your budget and pick to best one for YOU.

I planned on doing that, but ended up laying on only two beds before finding the one I wanted.

I have two one-person box spring mattresses with a thin foam layer on top and anti-allergenic covers. I paid something like $ 900 for the pair (€ 600 in our money).

$750 for the matress, bed spring, and a metal frame. The mattress was marked at $1400, but that's just how the matres business works.

It's a queen double with a pillow top and independent spring. I can leave a glass of water on my bed and jump on and off it without it moving.

Of course if I am trying to knock it over it will, but if I'm just getting up and down it won't.

i would probably fall out of a hammock. but i bet those cloth hammocks feel nice, would never sleep on a rope hammock.

Was a grand delivered, included the box. I love it. I went to a bunch of stores, narrowed it down to a couple brands/technologies, then just waited for a dept. store sale...

a good memory foam mattress (Tempurpedic knockoff) but only cost ~$600.
