i need some dinner ideas

i want to make a huge decent meal for my chick and i and im wondering if theres any ideas floatin' around. ive been runnin' through some ideas on google, but nothing has jumped out yet.

this isnt a budget meal, but im not trying to spend 100.00 at the store for one night.

Coconut Curry.  Cook up some chicken with curry and spices, throw it in a pot with a can or two of coconut milk.  Stir fry up some vegetables (carrots, brocilli, bamboo shoots, etc).  Throw them in the same pot.  Cook up some rice and voila, chicken coconut curry.

Dont forget the cock sauce.

Pasta.  Its easy, good, and you can make the claim to fancy/gourmet even though its not.  What about a simple alfredo sauce with fettucici noodles and shrimp.  Get the large shrimp from the seafood guy, and head to a wine shop and tell them what you are cooking.  They will pair your wine for you.

Don't know your tastes or skills, but fried onions and garlic starts any meal.  And I'm not even Italian.  I  do rice a roni, noodle mixes, or pasta with frozen green beans or what have you, and veggie crumbles (that's what I call them)  thrown in , maybe some greens or salad on the side, carrot cake or cheese cake for dessert, and a Baileys liquor  to top it off . . .Or order a pizza from a local family owned pizza joint. Fuck those chain stores. . . :peace:

Better yet, make a home made pizza.

Camarones a La Diabla is some good food to make. Nothing like a nice home made mole. Spanish rice and beans with some tortillas.

Maybe some stuffed chicken breasts. Pound those suckers flat and roll up some cheese and ham or whatever sounds good, maybe some spinach in there. Use a little egg and flour to dredge them in and coat them with breadcrumbs(with a little olive oil mixed in), throw em the oven. Serve em with broccoli or asparagus or a salad and some mashed potatoes.

Camarones are shrimp. 

If you make pizza, be sure to make a dessert Pizza.  Save some dough, roll it out and absolutely cover it with cinnamon and sugar.  Bake it and then cover it with whipped cream (or mascarpone cheese w/a little sugar in it) and some fresh berries.
