What kind of smell is it? If you're not sure about them yet, I would isolate them from the other jars, just to be safe. Just keep an eye on them.
strange/bad smell = Bad stuff
earthy/mushroomy smell = probably ok

first, buy TMC (the mushroom cultivator)-staments
second, if you smell something like that, its likly to be bacillis, wet spot bacteria.. = bad.. chuck it, sterilize and follow a more stringent and sterile procedeure next time.

I know I am pretty much saying what has allready been said, but for the information, and so you know its true:

earthy smell = probably fine
bad smell = probably bad

of course, if there is halted growth, this is bad.
