I use the 90 something qt sterlite and I just use foam weather stripping. Be sure to put it on the lid, so when you clean your tub, the weatherstripping won't get damaged or contaminated. It works great!!

I'm not in a desert, but daily ambient humidity is about 31%, which is why I went with the weather stripping. Now I have water beaded up on all sides of terrarium. I have started "cracking" one side open to allow overpreasure force out extra humidity when I case. My digital hygrometer then reads about 92% consistently. With the top sealed it can only be 100% with so much condensation on the sides. Hope this helps. Peace

holy shit, moe's here. hi moe.

warzau, i recommend that since you're using perlite, try it without creating a perfect seal. i imagine the humidity will be high enough. i often crack the lid of my terrarium open an inch or so to help with air exchange, and the humidity is great. perlite almost causes too much humidity.

If I may...what size/brand name weather stripping did you use? I mean...I put on weather stripping all the time (said sarcastically) so this should be a snap!....right:-)????
