I started to watch a movie about people stranded like 30 feet high up on a ski-lift. The solution was too obvious so I had to change channels.

I believe there were three versions, all of them pretty decent and quite moving. I never understood the big controversy about cannibalism to stay alive in an extreme condition. It wasn't as if they were killing each other.

It's just a shitty situation to be in if there ever was a shitty situation to be in. I have never been that close to death in a situation as such to know for sure whether I would eat another dead human to survive. I'm leaning towards yes I would realistically, but I would like to think I wouldn't.

They had plenty of clothes between the three of them to make a long and strong cloth rope/ladder. With just the outer wear you have 3 pairs of ski pants and 3 jackets each around 7 feet stretched out that's 42 feet without counting inner clothes.

Sure it was cold. Better to be on the ground and moving to a cabin then staying up high in the breeze, immobile and and freezing.
