ultrasonic fogger

so i have the repti fogger from zoo med and i have n complants yet except it dont tell u how to clean it properly so i dont fuck it up..

i kno there are a few of u on here that have used this fogger so any help on how to clean this thing would b awsome thanks..

I have one, but have not have to repair it yet.

I tried to get advice on disassembling a different ultrasonic but
got zero replies. 

I hope that there are techniques for cleaning these.

One thing that I can add is that unless you use only deionized water
(I do not) you must de-calcify the unit on occasion.  I have just run it
with some vinegar in place of the water, for 30 seconds or so, and this
did seem to improve the fog generate a tad.

you where the one who i figuerd help me with this i have had this fogger for allmost a year now always use distiled or bottled water and it still got that white powdery deposits on it the unit still works fine just needs to b cleaned

Yes, this crust is mineral deposits and it will eventually affect
the operation of the unit.

Bottled water is a waste, as it has all the mineral ions in question.

I use tap with mine, but I also am getting at best 6-12 months of operation
from any of my devices. (well, the sponge type humidifiers seem to be
lasting longer, but they are also the least useful type).

Do run some vinegar or other deposit remover in the unit.  You will see improvement.
