Ultrasonic fogger in a room grow

i want to use an ultrasonic fogger on a humidistat in a room grow. prob placed in the middle of the room with shelves of casings along perimeter with fans to circulate things.

The problem is i know little about foggers. So, im looking on ebay and shit and finding some but i cannot be sure as to whether or not they are powerful enough to do a room sufficiently.

if someone could give me links to products, post thread links, or just give me some info/suggestions/tips on operation and utilization, it would be greatly appreciated.

That one will fog up my closet (posted picture on other thread) to the point that you cant see in (PLENTY) in 20-30 minutes. I run it 30 minutes on, 2 hours off, to keep humidity nice for a bunch of poo casings. It will vary depending on alot of factors, but one or two of those would likly do you well.

cool. ill prob get one or two of these then and hook them both up to the humidistat.

i have an ultrasonic coolmist unit that puts out a dense fog but is of average size and could probably not humidify the area on its own, or perhaps it could with long intervals or continuous running.

i could hose the US CMist in for at least some air exchange, though i believe you said that i would not need much beyond the general opening of the door. It could be timed or continuous depending on its performance in this set-up. Then the foggers in the middle of the grow room could be put on the humidistat to up Rh accordingly. a fan could blow down from ceiling and between foggers to circulate air. humidistat positioned not below fan or above foggers but on periphery to get a better sample of the mixed air.

how does this sound for humidifaction?

ill post pics when this is done, im rather excited.

ive also considered just a cool mist piped in for a little constant air exchange that doesnt produce such a dense fog. The foggers on the humidistat should be able to adjust humidity no matter what. ive thought about having an unhumidified fresh air intake fanned in, but i doubt i will do this.

Its either an ultrasonic, or cool mist, not both. The ultrasonic puts out a dense fog though..and that will do you just as well as the unit you linked. Ones just smaller and is easier to put in a larger resivior, though either can be used with a large reservior with modifications. One should be enough, but you could add a fogger to the ultrasonic if it wasnt enough alone, and that would be enough. Everything sounds ok though, adding the cool mist piped in will probably be a good idea. You can always try it without first, and see how it works..or with it first and se how it works, then without. Either way. This hobby is some science, but its alot of art too, gotta find out what works for you..you sound like your going the right direction though.

whats the best tek for a large resevoir that wont have contam problems or what have you?

this thing says both but it works like an ultrasonic (disc and what not).

i might make the box and run the ultrasonic i have off the humidistat to test it. no trays or shelves, but i think it will give an idea of the unit's performance in the space. Sound like a good idea?

i think my area will be about 8 feet longx5feet widex7feet tall
