Priceline.com, is it legit?

I am going down to Appalachian State in Boone North Carolina for a couple days to take a test. I wanted to use priceline.com to order up a really cheap hotel. People say you can get good deals on there.

Is it legit though? Have you used it before?

I'd use kayak. They have all of them on there. Sort of a collective search.

I use hotels.com for hotels. I've never tried to use it, but hotels.com has a price match guarantee. I like their nice interface, good reviews (lots of them) so I can read more about the hotel before I stay, stay 10 nights get 1 night free, etc etc.

It's a pretty well known site. I was looking around at hotel reviews and was happy they had so many. Really made my hotel choice a no brainer on a vacation a few years ago.

No, I've never been ripped off.
